Fees for USA Non-Immigrant Visas
To get a Non-Immigrant Visa to the United States of America, you have to pay visa fees. Everyone applying for a visa has o pay these fees except for very few visa types. In some countries, some applicants also have to pay and additional issuance fee once the visa is issued.
Application Fee (Machine Readable Visa “MRV” Fee)
The fees below apply for non-immigrant visa applications. Each applicant, including children and all dependents are required to pay a NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE visa application fee. This fee will be paid and will not be refunded, irrespective of whether you are issued a visa or not.

The current fees have a two-tiered fee structure for non-immigrant visas. You may have noticed that petition-based applications have a high fee structure. This is because they require a lot more processing than non-petition based applications. The total fee covers the cost of accepting, adjudicating and issuing visas from visa applications.

VISA ISSUANCE FEE
In some countries a Visa issuance fee is charged. This fee is based on the reciprocity and differs by the nationality of the applicant. This fee (not the application fee) is refundable if the visa is refused. You need to have a means of paying the fee with you when you go for your visa interview.
