Bow Valley College announces new Vice President, Academic
Bow Valley College is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Crowe as Vice President, Academic, effective January 4, 2022.
As Vice President, Academic, Mr. Crowe will be responsible for providing leadership and strategic direction to the academic portfolio and related leadership initiatives. He will be a champion for academic excellence in teaching and learning, applied research, innovation, and the integration of academic and non-academic services to support the whole student, while advancing the broader mission, strategies, and goals of the College.
Bow Valley College is located at the gateway to the East Village, an exciting, growing neighbourhood. There’s plenty of arts and culture at the National Music Centre, Fort Calgary, and at all of the major public art installations throughout the area.

The international Education Department at Bow Valley College offers scholarship opportunities to our international students each academic term, and at each stage during their studies. The scholarship program is divided into two main categories:
- Entrance scholarships: International students are eligible to apply if they are starting their very first post-secondary program and have completed an English language learning or upgrading program at Bow Valley College.
- In-Course Scholarships: International students are eligible to apply if they are current Bow Valley College full-time students in good academic standing, and have already completed at least one academic term in their post-secondary program.
